As a newly solo traveller based in Pembrokeshire, Wales, a turn of events in family health has left me with the constant reminder 'life is too short'. This short sentence, has pushed me to a new part of my life, solo travelling!

Back in 2025, I took the dive and went to Cologne on a little city break. I remember sat in the terminal thinking to myself have I made the wrong decision. There was no turning back. I came back from Cologne and had post holiday blues. Once again I started looking online for flights. Move forward 1 year and I managed to complete 10 solo city breaks in 1 whole year.

I have already met some amazing people along the way and have learnt a lot about myself.
